About Me
I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness, self-compassion and yoga. We will start by gaining awareness of your emotions and thought process. We'll identify and replace unhelpful thoughts that are keeping you stuck. I will challenge you to think differently, but I'll do so in a way that is kind and supportive. My number one goal is for you to feel comfortable and supported so that we can dive into the difficult work. I use my background as a yoga instructor to teach you new tools to cope with the physical discomfort of anxiety through breathing exercises, mindfulness, and yoga. I also offer Exposure and Response Prevention to help my clients with OCD get control over intrusive thoughts and worries, decrease unhelpful coping, and learn to cope with uncertainty. It's hard work, but so is trying to cope with anxiety on your own. Relief from anxiety is possible, I have seen so many of my clients learn to cope with their anxiety and feel calmer, happier, and more in control. Schedule your free consultation and let's get you on the path to a calmer, happier you.
